This page explains what information arizonachimneypros.com collects, where it goes and why. The site is run by Arizona Chimney Pros LLC (“we”, “us”). Questions? Call (602) 557-5071 or email contact@arizonachimneypros.com.
The booking form
To request an inspection, the form asks for:
- the service you need;
- optionally, what’s going on: the issues you pick, a note, your fireplace’s fuel type and whether it currently works;
- a preferred date and time window;
- your name, phone number and email address;
- your service address: street, apartment or unit if any, city and ZIP code.
With your request, the form also sends the address of the page you booked on, the page you first landed on during your visit, the referring page, any campaign tags or ad click identifiers that were in the address you landed on, and when you started and sent the form (the timing helps us filter out automated spam).
Looking up your address
As you type your address, our website’s server looks it up to suggest matches, using Google Places or, when that is not set up, Photon, a service built on OpenStreetMap data. Your address is also checked against US Census Bureau address records.
Where your request goes
When you send the form, it goes to our website’s server, which checks it and then:
- adds it to the company’s customer-management system: your name, phone number, service address, the service, your answers and note, the preferred date and time, the page you booked on, the page you first landed on, any campaign tags or ad click identifiers, and when you sent it;
- adds it to the company’s scheduling app: your name, email address, phone number, service address, the service, the preferred date and time, and your answers and note;
- emails the full request to the company, including where it came from and whether the address matched US Census records;
- emails you a confirmation at the address you entered.
Both emails are sent through the company’s Google email account, so they pass through Google’s mail servers. If your name or note contains a web link, the request is treated as likely spam: it is emailed to the company only, marked as held, and is not added to the customer-management system or the scheduling app, and no confirmation is sent to you.
Once our site has accepted your request, your browser also sends the details you typed to SEO Office OS, our own website-measurement app (see below).
We use your request to contact you about it by phone, text or email, to schedule the visit, and to see where requests come from. We don’t sell the details you send us.
How the site measures visits
Google tag
Every page loads Google’s tag (gtag.js, ID GT-WF78VHKS), added through Google Site Kit, which sends information about your visit to Google. The site also sends Google an event when you view the $99 inspection offer or its page, click it, open its fee details, tap a phone number, or start or send the booking form. Like any Google tag, it also collects standard page and device information on its own, such as the page address, the referring site and your browser. On top of that, our events add the page path, the service the page is about, where on the page the offer was, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or desktop; they never include anything you type into the booking form.
Google may set cookies. How Google uses them is described in Google’s cookies policy. Some pages, such as blog articles, also load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser fetches them from Google’s servers.
SEO Office OS
Every page also loads our own website-measurement script from https://seo-office-os.vercel.app/t.js. It is part of SEO Office OS, the company’s own app, which runs on another domain (seo-office-os.vercel.app), is hosted by Vercel and stores its data in a Supabase database.
- It sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab, for a random visit ID, the time of your latest activity, the page you landed on and the site that referred you. It uses local storage only if you opt out (below).
- It sends every page view: the page address and title, the page you landed on, the site that referred you, any campaign tags or ad click identifiers in the address you landed on, your screen width, and whether your device supports touch.
- It sends every tap on a phone number: the number and the link text.
- Once the website has accepted a booking request, it sends the details you typed into the form (the service, the issues you picked, your note, preferred date and time, name, phone, email, street, city and ZIP code), directly from your browser.
- The app works out your device type, browser and operating system, and your approximate city, region and country from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored.
We use it to see which pages, searches and advertising bring calls and requests, and where each request came from. It is not sold, not used to send you marketing, and not shared with advertising networks. SEO Office OS keeps these records until the company deletes them; there is no automatic deletion.
Opting out: open any page of this site with seo-ignore=1 in the address, for example arizonachimneypros.com/?seo-ignore=1 (or add &seo-ignore=1 after an existing ?query; both work). Your browser then keeps a note in local storage that it is not measured. Open a page with seo-ignore=0 to undo it. The note is lost if you clear the browser’s site data. This opt-out applies to SEO Office OS only.
Notes the site keeps in your browser
The site itself keeps two notes in your browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab:
acp_attr: the first page you land on during a visit, the referring page, and any campaign tags or ad click identifiers in that page’s address, so a request you send later in the same visit shows where you came from. It leaves your browser only as part of a booking request.acp_offer_float_dismissed: set if you close the floating $99 offer card, so it stays closed for the rest of the visit.
How long information is kept
- Booking requests (the emails, the customer-management system and the scheduling app): kept as part of the company’s business records; the company has not set a deletion schedule.
- SEO Office OS records: kept until the company deletes them; there is no automatic deletion.
- Session storage: cleared when you close the tab.
- Information Google collects through its tag is handled under Google’s own policies.
